In Seattle, these past few weeks have really felt like fall. I love looking out into the foggy morning air and seeing bursts of color across the water on Queen Anne. I love seasons; I like everyone else, like to talk about the changing weather. Winter seems to settle in with it's endless rain and wet snow. Spring creeps out from under winter's blanket, and at times seems to sneak back in. Summer also comes slowly in our part of the country, but Autumn arrives with a boisterous proclamation, waving millions of tiny, colorful pendants. It is this time of year that urges me to turn on the oven, bake breads, savor wine with friends, and snuggle up with cozy blankets and hot tea. Happy fall everyone!
